Avoid electronic waste – that is the philosophy of IT refurbishment. By recycling used hardware, resources are conserved, contributing to sustainability. The production of new devices requires a significant amount of raw materials and impacts the environment. Refurbishing old devices extends their lifecycle.
At MB-Smart, we see electronic refurbishment as an opportunity to breathe new life into used electronics and give them a chance to shine again. It also saves money, reduces electronic waste that would otherwise end up in landfills, contributes to resource conservation, enhances energy efficiency, prolongs the lifespan of devices, and supports a circular economy.
We collaborate with certified disposal companies and can properly dispose of and recycle electronic waste. Data-bearing components of devices that cannot be deleted with, for example, Blancco, are disposed of or certified destroyed in an environmentally friendly manner.
In this process, we can also recycle components that do not have data carriers and use the raw materials for the processing of other devices. We aim to produce as little scrap as possible while reusing as many resources as possible multiple times.
We not only buy used devices but are also interested in purchasing electronic components from smartphones such as display units, circuit boards, sub-PCBs, or cameras. Through a simple and transparent process, we ensure that electronic waste is treated in an environmentally friendly and secure manner.
